Delivery Information

At Mooney Boats, we aim to process orders promptly and provide a reliable delivery service throughout Ireland and internationally. Below you will find information about our delivery options, charges, delivery times and Click & Collect service.

Shipping and Handling

We offer courier delivery throughout Ireland, with next-working-day delivery as our standard aim for eligible orders.

Orders placed before our daily order cut-off time of 12pm (Irish Time) will normally be processed for dispatch that working day, subject to stock availability and order verification

Orders placed after 12pm will normally be dispatched on the next working day.

We ship our regular deliveries with DPD or An Post.

 For paint and oversized items we ship with Donegal Groupage.

Weekend and Bank Holiday Orders

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Delivery times begin once your order has been dispatched. Although we aim to meet the estimated delivery times shown on our website, delivery may occasionally be affected by courier schedules, adverse weather, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our control.

Standard Delivery Charges in Ireland

Our standard delivery charges are as follows:

• Small items: €2.00 including VAT (items that fit in a paper envelope).
• Standard items: €10.00 including VAT.
• Paint – up to 2 tins: €43.00 including VAT.
• Paint – more than 2 tins: €61.50 including VAT.
• Small pallet: €86.10 including VAT (bulky items requiring a small pallet).
• Large pallet: €104.55 including VAT (bulky items requiring a large pallet).

The applicable delivery charge will depend on the items ordered and the delivery method required.

Paint Deliveries

Paint cannot be shipped using our regular courier service due to its specific handling requirements.

Please allow approximately 2 working days for paint deliveries. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and transport arrangements.

International Deliveries

We can arrange delivery to destinations outside Ireland, by phone arrangement/email only.

International delivery charges and estimated delivery times depend on the destination, the size and weight of the order, and the delivery method required.

International delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier and any applicable customs procedures.

Delivery Schedule and Order Availability

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. In-stock orders placed before 12pm on a working day will normally be dispatched that day.

If an item is temporarily out of stock, we may arrange a back order. We will contact you by email to explain the situation, advise you of the expected availability where possible, and provide your options, including cancellation where applicable.

Please quote your order number in all correspondence relating to your order.

Lost, Delayed or Damaged Deliveries

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, or if goods arrive damaged or items are missing, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please quote your order number and provide details of the issue. Photographs of damaged packaging or goods may help us investigate and resolve the matter.

We will work with the delivery company where necessary to investigate delivery problems and arrange an appropriate solution.

We encourage customers to report delivery issues promptly so that we can investigate them efficiently. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

Delivery confirmation and tracking information supplied by the delivery company may be used as evidence when investigating whether an order was delivered. However, such records do not automatically establish that goods were received in every circumstance or remove any applicable consumer rights.

Track Your Order

Mooney Boats Shop uses DPD, An Post and Donegal Groupage to deliver orders. Tracking availability depends on the delivery service used and the type of delivery.

Tracking numbers are available on request where the delivery service provides them. We do not automatically email tracking numbers when an order is dispatched.

How do I request a tracking number?

If you would like to track your delivery, please contact us by email or telephone and provide your order number. We will check whether tracking is available for your delivery and provide the tracking number where applicable.

Once you have received your tracking number, you can use the relevant courier's tracking service to check for delivery updates.

Are all deliveries trackable?

No. Tracking is not available for every delivery.

Donegal Groupage deliveries cannot be tracked using a tracking number, as this service does not use tracking numbers. If your order is being delivered by Donegal Groupage and you would like an update, please contact us with your order number and we will assist with your enquiry.

Tracking availability for other delivery services may depend on the particular shipment.

Can I track my order through my account?

Order tracking and order-status information are not currently available through your customer account. Please contact us directly if you need an update on your order or delivery.

Click & Collect

You can collect your online order from our shop in Killybegs.

Please allow up to 24 hours for your order to be prepared. We will send you an email when your order is ready for collection. Please wait for this confirmation before travelling to collect your order.
